John Brogdon brings a rare and valuable perspective to plaintiff’s personal-injury litigation, shaped by years of experience on the defense side of high-stakes civil cases. He began his legal career with the Fulton County Solicitor’s Office, where he served as a prosecutor and gained extensive courtroom experience while working closely with law enforcement, witnesses, and judges.
Mr. Brogdon then joined the City of Atlanta’s litigation team, where he defended the City against civil liability claims. In that role, he developed an in-depth understanding of how governmental entities, insurers, and defense counsel evaluate claims, assess risk, and litigate cases. This insight now gives his clients a strategic advantage in personal-injury matters.
In September 2021, Mr. Brogdon joined a prominent defense firm, Waldon Adelman Castilla McNamara & Prout, where he tried numerous cases and learned how defense attorneys and insurance adjusters litigate and evaluate cases. His background allows him to anticipate defense strategies, identify weaknesses in opposing arguments, and position cases for maximum value, whether through settlement or trial. In 2023, Mr. Brogdon answered his true calling and joined a plaintiff’s personal injury practice. John now handles high-stakes, complex cases on behalf of victims seriously injured or killed by the wrongful acts of others.
Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Brogdon is deeply committed to community service. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Flipper Temple AME Church and is an active member of the Modern-Day Knights, a social organization dedicated to mentoring at-risk youth and helping guide them toward higher education.
