Brianna Yates is an Atlanta personal injury attorney dedicated to advocating for individuals who have been harmed by the negligent acts of others.

Brianna is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, where she developed a true passion for advocacy. In law school, Brianna served as co-executive chair of the Mock Trial Program, and she proudly represented UGA as a competitor in several national mock trial competitions. Based on her commitment to advocacy, Brianna was selected as a pupil of the prestigious Clarke-Carley Inn of Court and was honored as a member of the National Order a Barristers, a distinction reserved for the top ten advocates at the University of Georgia.

Throughout law school, Brianna worked on a number of projects related to free speech and the First Amendment. Brianna was selected as a Summer Fellow at Yale Law School’s Media Freedom & Information Access Clinic. In her summer at Yale, Brianna worked on cases concerning the protection of freedom of expression and the rights of journalists. Additionally, she participated in the UGA First Amendment Clinic, during which she won the CLEA Outstanding Clinic Team Award. Prior to law school, Brianna earned her Bachelor of Science in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University’s esteemed S.I. Newhouse of Public Communications. Brianna’s passion for communication culminated in her delivering a TEDx Talk in 2020, The Magic of Human Connection, a speech in which she reflects on her time working for the Walt Disney Company and stresses the importance of face-to-face human connection in our increasingly digital world. Outside of work, Brianna loves spending time with her family and friends. She grew up in Alpharetta and is an alumnus of Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in Roswell. In her spare time, Brianna enjoys traveling, writing, and cheering on both the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.
